Often times lab tests come back "NORMAL", but the feeling of "WELLNESS" is not there.
It can be perplexing. We aim to look at the individual as a whole.

Have you ever walked into a practitioner's office feeling not quite right, had an exam and battery of tests and come back a week later only to hear, "Nothing's wrong with you." Relieved, you still don't feel right.

This is where functional, complementary and alternative health practices play a critical role, helping people focus on wellness and optimal functioning. The primary concern of functional practices, is finding health issues before they become serious concerns. Functional lab assessment is used to determine how well organs and systems are functioning. It recognizes each person has specific biochemical needs that are determined by, lifestyle, genetic structure, and environment. It focuses on restoration of health and health status rather than a disease situation. It looks for improvement in quality of life and an increase in optimal health and healthy living.

Many years before most illnesses occur, there is a steady, cumulative, measurable decline in body function. By the time you need a cardiogram, you already have heart or circulation symptoms, by the time you have a GI issue, you are experiencing some type of digestive issues.

Even so-called preventative testing such as mammograms (see thermography instead) and cholesterol screenings are really tests for early disease rather than true prevention.

Holistic health practitioners use many noninvasivefunctional tools to look at function rather than disease and use natural, biological approaches that are designed to assist the unique body's ability to experience optimal health and wellness.

Why suggest: IgG?

When trying to heal the system, or relieve idiopathic symptoms, identifying food sensitivities can be a piece to the puzzle, or sometimes the direct cause. When IgG immune complexes are over produced due to a specific antigen, and unable to clear, they can cause significant inflammation throughout the body. IgG Food Sensitivity testing can be a simple and effective way to identify foods that are causing an inflammatory response without having to implement an elimination/reintroduction diet, which can take a significant amount of time and effort. This is especially true since reactions to foods can take up to several days to create noticeable symptoms. Furthermore, testing for IgG reactivity has numerous published case reports showing positive results with implementation.
